## 1. Language & Chat

### **1.1 Language Use**

You are free to use any language in global chat. However, we **recommend using English** so that everyone can understand and participate.

If someone speaks a language you don’t understand, simply **mute them** by pressing **B** and clicking the **speaker icon** next to their name.

While other languages are tolerated, using **vulgar language, insults** , or offensive content in _any_ language will result in a **warning** , followed by **punishment** if the behavior continues.

> _Note: The same rules apply to the Discord ↔ in-game chat bridge._

* * *

### **1.2 No Spamming**

Please **do not spam**. Space your messages out and allow room for others to engage in meaningful conversation.

* * *

### **1.3 No Advertisement or Trolling**

Obvious **advertisements** , **trolling** , or **disruptive behavior** will be dealt with immediately. Admins may remove offending players **without warning**. All chat is logged and can be reviewed.

> **Possible Punishments:** Kick / Temp Ban / Perma Ban

## 2. Toxicity

### **2.1 Zero Tolerance for Toxicity**

**We do not tolerate toxic behavior on HWS.** Light teasing in PvP is fine, but ongoing **harassment, insults, name-calling** , or **blame-shifting** is not acceptable.

#### How our Anti-Toxicity System works:

1. **Do not engage** with toxic behavior. If you respond, you’re also considered **guilty** —it doesn’t matter who started it.
2. If someone is toxic, **take a screenshot** , press **B** , and **mute** the player.
3. Report the incident with the screenshot here: [https://help.hws.global/](https://help.hws.global/)
4. Offenders will be:

- **Warned on the first offense**
- **Temporarily banned on the second offense**
- **Permanently banned on the third offense**

We all deal with enough toxicity in real life—please don’t bring it here. If you want to trash talk, do it in **your own Discord** , by **email** , or somewhere outside of HWS.

> **Possible Punishments:** Kick / Temp Ban / Perma Ban

## 3. Behavior & Community

### **3.1 Respect Everyone**

Be respectful toward others—even if they’re not in your current chat. This means: **no racism, sexism, shaming, or verbal abuse** of any kind.

* * *

### **3.2 Keep It Family Friendly**

HWS is a **family-friendly server**. Minors and women are part of our community. Keep global chat clean and **avoid profanity or inappropriate language**.

* * *

### **3.3 No Sensitive Topics**

**Religion, politics, gender discussions,** and other polarizing topics have no place on HWS or its Discord. Please take those conversations to Reddit or other platforms.

* * *

### **3.4 No Offensive Names or Content**

You may not use **offensive, vulgar, or impersonating names** in any of the following:

- Your structure/vehicle names
- Steam username
- Forum or Discord nickname
- Faction names

Even if Steam allows certain names, **we don’t**. You will be warned and, if you don’t comply, **banned**. Attempts to hide identity or other suspicious naming behavior will also be punished.

> Final decisions are made by admins and **are not up for debate**.

* * *

### **3.5 No Disruptive Behavior (e.g., Drunkenness)**

If your behavior negatively affects the community—even as a joke or under the influence—you may receive a **temporary ban** to give you time to **sober up and return respectfully**.

* * *

### **3.6 Use Your In-Game Name**

When joining our Discord, please **use your in-game name**. This helps us verify you’re a real player and assist you properly with in-game issues.

* * *

### **3.7 Faction Recruitment**

Do **not spam** recruitment messages in global chat. Each faction may post **one message per 24 hours**.

For better results, please use:

- The [**dedicated Discord recruitment channel**](https://discord.com/channels/216919452674031617/1048584734785142825)
- The **EGS HQ recruitment board** at ECC in-game

> **Possible Punishments:** Kick / Guilty / Temp Ban / Perma Ban
