=>How did this happen after switching core from no faction to private? Hope to get an Alien Core back in it.

Try just relogging there’s a bug with cores becoming invisible.

I did logout for about 45 minutes then back in. I was able to put a player core in the same place.

I put the core in your inventory. See slot 6
