Unfortunately we need a screenshot in cases like this, since we can’t really track what happened to your backpack.
So a screenshot of the backpack being stuck in the ground or so.

Do you by any chance have that?

note: backpack volume is very low. it’s better to keep a ship nearby for quick F4 access to use as storage. when looting containers, you can pick your ship on the left hand side from the drop-downs and select any box you like.
