Base cargo boxes unaccessable cause internal error

======= NOTICE FOR HELP =======

What happened:

I placed my base and it all worked well until; the last hour I was on. For some reason if I tired to access any cargo boxes either vie F or P key I would get the internal error splash box. I sent the first email to Eleon. After that I logged off hoping it would fix its self after a few server restarts but, nope it still is not working. I have loaded this base up with materials and really would hate to lose all of it.

Player(s) with issue:

Tripwire

Server:

NA

Time (cb:time):

7AM server time 12/18/2018

Playfield:

Sicuor

Structure Name(s):

Tripwire Domain

Structure ID(s):

How can we help you now:

Please see if you can fix the error preventing me from now accessing my materials. Thanks guys.

as long as the materials are in the base you will not loose them! only after 7 days if you are on a starter!

tip: at lvl 3 make a connection box and try that way.

This did not work :frowning: Thanks for the idea though.

Hey,

thanks for forwarding the logs to the devs.
We send them also our server logs. I hope a fix comes soon but we also see a lot of exceptions. Not sure what we could do right now. I guess we have to wait.

You might want to try it again after this last hotfix.
Let us know if something changed.

Even after the hotfix update it still is doing it. Anyway to delete then restore the base on your end? Maybe that would fix the issue? It all worked for about 9 hours before the issue started.

Interesting note for you and maybe the Devs. I decided to delete the cargo boxes and recover my materials so I donโ€™t waste time during the start up. So, as I was multi tooling the cargo boxes I noticed I was getting deco mats bank instead if the cargo box mats. See attached video https://youtu.be/JztEKHzatDk I wonder if there is a bug in the code that caused the game to see them as deco instead of storage and thatโ€™s why the game started giving the internal error code.

Hey @Tripwire

very sorry, but it was my mistake with the Deco blocks.
I found the issue in the HWS Config, after rechecking thousands of lines.
It was a left over migration during the EXP phase.

After the next server restart, you should get the right blocks back. Please let me know tomorrow if Iโ€™m right.

Not sure though if the internal error was related to that though.

LOL well I already deleted all the old boxes and put down newly constructed ones. I will however put down some of the old style and test it out for you Rex and let you know. Thanks a million and no worries about it at all, with a fresh restart and things like this is to be expected. Keep the faith buddy, you guys are doing a fine job.

It now gives back the cargo boxes instead of deco :slight_smile: I cant test the original issue since I changed out all the boxes with the updated versions though :frowning: but for now I am all good.

Thanks, That exception is quite clear and hopefully easy to find. I also send it to them.

Just got the note that its fixed in the next Hotfix :slight_smile:
