I sold my “a pirate” about 6 months ago to upgrade to an “a pirate galaxy s6” so I’m free to respond here.
Xanif if your pirate please dont post in this post. I am not anti pirate and this post is not its all part of the role play. As a trader I wont stand by and not be able to trade in gold cus pirates set up shop. If anything this could be the start of a Trade Union. Traders and the like working together to make even more credit etc.

So do any of you have any ideas how we clear the prates from gold planet? I suggested one above but no one has said anything?
Gunslinger, an alliance of factions even though all of the alliance is still impossible without the developers bringing a guide on the PDA where we can make alliances, simply throwing everyone at all and SWP making the party, I suggest you build stronger ships and ride on larger convoys , Or even hire some temporary escort, to protect them.
One thing I would like to warn everyone is that the server adms already have a new god mode tool that allows them to be present in the combat without being seen, allowing them to keep an eye on the smarties who like to use certain programs … And it is already active in 4.4 …
Have you tried to lure them into a trap with that combo : several russians babes + a lot of Vodka + Popcorns ? 
Even if you clear their bases on GF they can come undefinitly and rebuild again. Right now, one feature requested by many in those last months is still missing : Alliance factions system, when this will be up maybe you will be able to work on smth with others alliances, Traders or hunters factions.
Good point @Blackwing what I am looking for is a full time presence of either Alliance or Hunters on GF but the only way to do that is by paything them. Now as a single trader it would not be worth it for them but as a group or union paying them it would be. Be we need to get the numbers here joined together as one Union with agreements etc to present to said factions a worth while project.
Its very hard to be single faction. Unfortunately if you have made long progress single, its not easy to even join bigger faction, as outcome you lose your RP points, and that will hurt you again. Game is very unforgiven to be single, And maybe you dont even want to be anything else but lonely ranger, but make occasional deals with others.I bet many newbies who start single, and then lose, frustrate. I hope there would be diplomacy options between factions, to actually make union, without leave your current faction, make war and make peace.etc

Traders of HWS do you not want to mine freely on Gold Fed? If so join up here. We need more traders. The more traders we have the easier this mission will be.

Thats what I am trying to do but it seems all the traders bar the few already on here are happy being swatted by SWP.
Maybe this is a task for the next wipe.
Many people don’t care about gold planet anymore because by the time you get big ships to fight SWP you no longer need the gold.
