Yes, allowed. If this is met:

5.2 You are not allowed to split a big faction into smaller to circumvent our Limit system (gain more vessels to steamroll the enemy)

Yes, but same as above

Are you randomly allowed to change your player name?

Yes, but as happened already not like this:

This, of course, applies to faction names as well. We also reserve the right to warn / ban accounts that have the obvious intent to cover identity or other suspicious activity.
