I see you got your first supply package just fine so what happened with it?
The goal of Alpha 8 / HWS 8 was to bring Survival a bit more back again.
This supply package there is already a (spoiled) dream regarding that 
So try for now to stick to your drill and Survival Tool and gather some materials. Or ask some player or check out all the other goodies as the Marketplace Cruiser, HWS Connect Daily Loot etc.
Yeah I lost it and tried to respawn with pirate, but you start with so little ammo and so many hostile creatures that it became impossible to try and get even basic ore again
what planet did you start on?
