Tiny a solution to your meteors under the ocean, take your hv and drill under the ocean and where that meteor is drill up and the meteor will fall through into air where you can mine it.
I just figured out this morning that sometimes (especially close after a restart) that there simply arenāt any/many. It can take up to like 15 minutes before they start dropping instead of straight away. Iām not sure what it is exactly that influences the meteorite drops but there do seem to be more balance problems here. Also some are indeed underwater (hard to spot and hard to drill and they take up a meteorite count for the planetā¦).
Yeah I was thinking of making a very long vertical HV with drills on the bottom. Then I can drill all lakes as well. Was also considering making random cheap blocks upwards to shift center out of the water so I can dive and drill underwater normally. But not sure if this is considered an exploit.
Also I just screenshotted a bug with the collision on the drills being bad. Sometimes you literally can not drill a meteorite straight ahead of you. Collision box of drill prevents drill from getting close enough to drill⦠Big fail⦠Canāt get closer because collision box of meteorite&drills collides and blocks you. But canāt drill either because drill-hit-box not close enoughā¦
Iād really like to see:
- Almost tripple the size of meteorites (other than gold/sath). ESPECIALLY for the common ores which are currently not even remotely worth drilling.
- Make meteorite drops more reliable.
- Fix drills.
- Allow underwater drilling so we donāt have to cheese/exploit (if that is one)/shoot them just to get them to drop again.
- Make meteorites under water easier to spot or at the very least make it more rewarding (increase quantity of those meteorites or something)
