# HWS Feature: NPC Trader

I like the idea of a cap on how many sold, Iād have to go over to NA quick to buy all the best ones š
Iām all for spending my money and giving it to hard working traders, I want ammo in bulk along with lots of other thingsā¦but Iām not desperate, i wonāt pay silly prices when gold is rare now.
If the market ever becomes booming, great no need for NPC tradersā¦but atm the market caters to mostly new players, what about the rich guys?
1 thing Iām sure on is now my npc package price will go up a lot and no one will buy it.
I wouldnāt for any more than 60-65k and Iām mega rich. So where else is this market? So many new players who have it a lot harder now. Guns/ammo is lost so quickā¦1 death lost it all, why would you pay so much.
If epic weapons were āepicā Iād say yea underpriced. Iād happily see a formula so maybe only people with x amount of playtime could buy or x amount reputation could buy npc trader packages.
Itās a hard one cos I mainly only bought NPC packages on the last one cos I couldnāt find items I wanted on the market.
Hws market is a bit more frustrating than I thought originally due to the large cost of getting there, but, if I go with a large cargo ship and spend 1,000,000 itās not a wasted trip. Atm I look and see basically, nothing worth making the trip for.

Well, you said yourself that you didnāt trade them earlier. I did and I know of several trades with them. And the prices were from 50k to 250k (shotguns were much cheaper than that, because they were available at NPC shop).
As a side note, the server does seem to lack proper traders. Iām not even sure Iāll get to the Allianceās job of destroying pirates (as I intended) any time soon at that rate.

I really like that idea. Must have like 100 rp to buy any npc trader packagesā¦
You win as a loyal trader you can dictate price when resell.
I win cos Iām a loyal hunter and want packages.
Limited to 5 packages a day.
Now that would be a much needed win to the long standing players cos atm we are getting less and less for being loyal server members that new guys canāt get, you can buy Donator packages and have a lot more than me and others with a lot higher playtime.
I really would like to see the loyal guys getting rewardedā¦perhaps this is the way

I have about 10 of every epic weapon. I will list tomorrow for every one, 50,000 each. Letās see who buys themā¦š
Also reference about alliance etcā¦now people are under the impression factions are just āguidelinesā I have seen less care given, less role play imoā¦which is what I loved most about hws.
What I see is most people are pirates with T,A,H or most fitting the P lol
Unless there was coding that punished people or made it so being in a faction mattered for now I find im mainly killing traders, not because I want to but because they attack us first, Almost every timeā¦and if traders are doing that all the other factions will be too. So we have every faction acting like lawlessā¦

Just as we speak, people started getting hang of the 4.1 patch. Epic minigun is listed for buying @25k.

Listing is one thing, buying is another. Maybe they go and then Iām wrong and the npc has to go up a lot.
Maybe guys havenāt used the weapons, I assure you they do not offer much more than standard weaponsā¦90% of time you die before you can use (pvp) for pve if you need an epic weapon to take on the enemy your doing something wrong. The standard weapons should be like the epics and epics should be EPIC. I shot kills, rapid fire. Explosive roundsā¦something other than few more round slots and a minimal damage increase š

You mean, noone will sell at 25k? I guess I wasnāt understood. The order was on āwantedā tab. So a person requested the item for 25k.

I donāt go on PvE without an epic weapon. Spiders are really scary.
Epics are also useful to take turrets down. You technically can do the same with non-epic version, but itās harder and/or slower.

Oh I see, in which case I will remove all epic weapons from the package tomorrow. I guess people donāt realise you can get upto 6 in some alien bases in alien worldā¦thatās like 150k easy money, Iāll bear that in mind ;).

So much this! Or even having to physically supply all or a portion (50% for example, if you give the NPC trader 10k ingots, it can sell 20k) of the supplies provided by the NPC by way of supply convoy. Would allow for cost balancing, and get traders out and about, possibly hiring alliance or hunter as escorts.
