The HWS Marketplace (Elemental Trading & Black Market) concept was originally developed by HWS and was adopted by Eleon into the official version of Empyrion to some degree.

How does HWS Marketplace work?
There are 2 important facts about the HWS Marketplace:
- It can be only used with HWS Connect.
- It is way more powerful than the in-game Marketplace, which can be seen as replaced.
Integration
- To be able to sell something for free you have to go to an HWS Marketplace Zone
You can sell something outside of the Zone but have to pay a Fee as a compromise - To be able to buy something for free you have to go to an HWS Marketplace Zone. You can buy something outside of the Zone but have to pay a Fee as a compromise
- You can stop your order only if you are in an HWS Marketplace Zone. Even then you have to pay a Fee
- You can change the price of your order for free in the HWS Marketplace Zone. if you are outside of it, you have to pay a Fee
Fees
- You pay 10% credits and 1 HWS DNA per item fee to sell your order outside of the HWS Marketplace Zone
- You pay 10% credits fees to stop your order
- You pay 10% credits fees to change your order outside of the HWS Marketplace Zone
- You pay from 1% to 10% credits and 1 HWS DNA per 10-100 items fees if you buy something outside of the HWS Marketplace Zone - dependent from your Elemental Bank Level
Notes
- After you changed the price of your order you have to wait 1 hour before you can stop it

HWS Sale Discounts
Prices fluctuate throughout the season, but most sellers do not update their prices accordingly, so there is an automated sale/discount feature implemented:
The item unit price is dropped

by 25% after 15 days

by 50% (of the previous value) after 30 days
-
by 75% (of the previous value) after 60 days
These automated discounts ensure that an item for sale increases its bargain value over time.
Full wipe disclaimer
Be sure to get all your items out from the HWS Connect Marketplace before a full wipe! ALL OFFERS WILL BE DELETED during a full wipe!
