HWS Ingots are a **new in-game currency** designed to give all players the ability to unlock **HWS Supporter Packages** without using real money. Players can convert **HWS DNA** into HWS Ingots and spend them via [HWS Connect](https://empyrion-homeworld.net/hws-connect).

Check your balance at any time using the in-game command:
**`eb:info`**

## 🔁 How It Works

### 🔨 Conversion Rate

HWS Ingots are created by converting HWS DNA using the following rate:

- **100 HWS DNA** = **1 HWS Ingot**
- **1,000 HWS DNA** = **10 HWS Ingots**
- **10,000 HWS DNA** = **100 HWS Ingots**
- **100,000 HWS DNA** = **1,000 HWS Ingots**

* * *

### 🔧 How to Convert

Use the following commands to convert DNA:

- `eb:convert:dna` — converts **all** your HWS DNA into Ingots
- `eb:convert:dna:XX` — converts only **XX amount** of your DNA into Ingots

Converted Ingots are stored safely in your **[Elemental Bank (EB)](https://forum.empyrion-homeworld.net/t/elemental-bank-eb/4395)**.
They are **persistent** , with no limits, and survive **season wipes**.

## 💸 Spending HWS Ingots

In [HWS Connect](https://empyrion-homeworld.net/hws-connect), you can choose to pay for Supporter Packages either:

- With **real money**
- Or with **HWS Ingots**

If you select HWS Ingots, the amount will be deducted from your balance and the package will be **unlocked immediately**.

🧾 **Exchange Rate** :
**1 € = 12 HWS Ingots**

## 📘 What HWS Ingots Mean

HWS Ingots give **real value** to your in-game progress and DNA farming efforts. You can unlock powerful Support Packages entirely through gameplay.

This deepens the **Role Play** and gives more weight to your in-game accomplishments.

## ⚠ Important Notes

  - For example, you could unlock a **Supporter Planet** in a future season purely through gameplay!

- This feature is **still in development**. Specifications or Support Packages might change based on feedback and continued refinement.
