## 🛠 Our Mission

Our goal is to provide the **best Empyrion multiplayer experience** available.
We’ve been at it since **March 2016** , and we’re here to stay—with many more ideas and improvements planned for the future.

Unlike some other servers, we **don’t take your money and disappear**. We’re passionate players and community builders ourselves.

## 🚫 No Pay-to-Win Philosophy

From the start, we’ve stood by our belief:

> **You don’t need “pay to win” if you have a great community.**

All supporter benefits are designed to maintain fairness:

- Every **supporter feature** is also **available via in-game playtime**.
- We help **everyone equally** , regardless of support status.
- Our **volunteer staff** is very active and present.

## 💸 What Your Support Helps With

Running HWS isn’t cheap:

- Monthly server and website hosting costs exceed **€1539+ / $1697+**
- We operate **dual CPU machines** for high performance
- Ongoing development, support, updates, and moderation

Supporting HWS helps us **keep the servers free** for everyone!
