# I need help. I recycled my CV by mistake

Hey, @Totege. Welcome to HWS.

Unfortunately, recycling is impossible to undo 😬  
The best I can offer you, is to temporarily restore your CV, so you can at least take the loot from it. But you wouldn’t be allowed to keep or modify any blocks at all. Only items in containers.

The reason is that you don’t have [EGS Recycle](https://forum.empyrion-homeworld.net/t/egs-recycle-structures/7112) level 5+, so you don’t get devices back.
