What happened: In vanilla Empyrion as well as on the server, you can place multiple autominers per resource node. If you try to place them too close together, you’ll get a warning popup (from vanilla empyrion) that you can only place one per deposit. This warning popup is very similar to the “if you keep flying you will die” message – which was valid many versions ago and has long since been patched out but the expired warning still comes up every now and again near planets edges.
Back to the autominers- It says you can only put one per deposit if you try to place them too close together - however, if you move over just a short distance you can place another. This is a known thing across all the servers I’ve played on before, but each server had their own ruling as to whether it was a bug or exploit to do so. I was hoping to find out by asking here.
