I only got a base shield generator rather than; ShieldGeneratorPOIT2. Or it was added to the T2 CV generators.

Is that by design then and I’m being a muppet?

These are the main devices to what was used on your ship.
If these are not the ones you expected maybe @RexXxuS knows more about it

Sounds like template root triggered.
If so then it seems intentional.
It’s like you try to dismantle it with your multi tool

Ah okay so it takes the POI equipment and converts it to standard?
Because I got an arty turret as well which would marry up.

Yeah, the POI Artillery Turret have to be looked at though.
EGS Recycle should not give anything which players normally would not get.
Will check it asap.

I think in reforged you are able to salvage those devices intact to get the POI versions as long as you core the structure.
That’s why you are able to purchase and construct the ammo required for many of them.

It might be an issue on the Connect recycle side of HWS.

Reforged changes so often though, it’s hard to keep track of these types of things. Would have to dig through the reforged thread to find out.

Hmm ok. We recently changed our tool to reflect what the Config is doing in terms of TemplateRoot.
If it happens again I’ll check it out!

Just tested - looks good. The alien one is multi tooled into player art turret

Ah right so yeah we didnt get that.

Just did it again on a Kamirat via the egs:recycle instead of the OCD.

The Zirax turrets just turn into base minigun and sentry turrets.

Additionally the Advanced Shield Generator turned into an Advanced Base Shield Generator.

I’ve boldened what I was expecting but didnt get.

Ok, I rechecked and found this in the Config:

So it’s intentional from the designer that you get the TurretZiraxMSRocket back.
And TurretBaseLaserBlocks for the IONCannon2 for example.

I stick to the Creators “wish” so to speak. At least this is what EGS Recycle is doing automatically now.
Before it was kinda blindly giving items back.

Yeah that’s what I thought. So it’s not working then.

As I received a standard t1 rocket. Rather than a Zirax rocket, I think. Can’t remember now.

Guessing that’s the same with the disruptors? If so I’ll test tonight.
