are u currently recycle level 5? this is the only way an alien core is returned. also there has to be enough room in the ocd for items that do not fit in the recycle to backpack command. expand the dashboard and post a screenshot of what it says.
I’m level 5 and lot of empty slot in OCD

this here is confirmation the command saw the core and attempted to send to u. this means it “should” have been in the popup window that gives u the items. did u see any window with parts display after the command? that is where the core was supposed to be according to that entry. when abnormalities happen, these are keys to solving mysteries.
I don’t remember if I saw the window because I didn’t pay attention to it right away. It was when I wanted to organize my ocd that I noticed that I didn’t have the farmplots. Considering the quantity, you can imagine that if I had received them I would have seen it.
process of elimination is “fun” at times. yes this is sounding more like a bug. my guess is the game didn’t register the “send items to player” command and didn’t pop open the box for u. it is very hard to miss with it’s annoying red alert sound. it is also “supposed” to display more than one time. the admins can look into behind the scenes and give us a bit more clarification. u and i have discovered as many clues as we can. patience is the key now

I had a similar issue with 2 IDs.
Structure Fort JiNCo (657126) NPC cored
Structure [KTEC]-KIlls-PhantomX- (1450623) NPC Cored
PhantomX, I didnt get NPC core back, instead I was sent 7 player cores. OCD NPC cores were maxed.
