SV moving away from me as I head towards it

What happened?

I was Jumping from a system and when I arrived at my destination I noticed my sv was missing from where I had it docked. I returned to the system I just came from and see it on the map. As I’m heading towards the marker on the map it is constantly moving away from me and I lost control of my cv. I can no longer turn it in any direction.

=> I just want to get my sv back and figure out the issue with my cv losing control as it was working previously

a “fun” old bug where the ship is still docked but miles away. this can hinder turning as well. there are a few different options on how to fix this but i found the easiest way is to use the undock command in console then u can fly to it

open console with the ~ key and type:

undock SHIPID

u can find the ship id in the structure commander on hws connect.
