Taxes typically hit on the morning restart of the server, check restart times for your server to find this.
As Rex noted to Skard, he and myself and many others have been announcing the imminent taxation of planets > 200 cores both in game, in discord and in forums.
Tip: find a planet that is not taxed or leave the area before tax time. If you’re building a BA in a taxable planet, mind the core count and leave before it become taxable.
Reminder: the southern PVE planets are for starters, not long term mailboxes. Move out after some time, or pay some taxes.
