Hey, @Archerbezz.

We don’t speak Russian. Please edit your ticket and write it in English if you want help

that sounds like the cockpit is on backwards.

The ship is flying in the right direction. And the cockpit is facing the direction of travel. There’s a problem during warp. The ship is turning 180 degrees.

indeed a strange one. just in case though: start flying on cruise control and press M. is the arrow moving backwards?

or pick up the cockpit and place it down again. if it’s backwards, the entire ship is facing the wrong direction.

Yes, the direction arrow on the map is different from the actual direction of travel. The second screenshot shows the correct direction on the minimap, but the first screenshot shows the opposite direction.

Yes, the ship was built backwards. when building a ship, there is an arrow that points forward. some builders have put up workshop ships without knowing this.

The only way to fix it is to use the copy/rotate/paste tool on the entire ship in creative mode, then manually respawn it in the server. the admins cannot do this.

The fact is that I tried a lot of options in creative mode, and none of them worked. I tried cutting out the core section, lowering it below the ship, highlighting the hull separately, and rotating it first. It didn’t help. Then I did the same thing, but instead of rotating it, I reflected the hull. It still didn’t work. I also tried rotating the core, but it didn’t help. I spent about four hours in creative mode, and none of the options worked.

you have to select the entire ship, copy, paste the green template, rotate it 180 degrees, then paste again.

forward direction is hard coded. rotating individual parts will not resolve this. the entire ship was built backwards.

It’s easier to explain how to fix it with video than text.
Here’s a couple Youtube videos to show you just that.

lol spanj and his 30 minute tutorials for 30 seconds of information.

I’ll try to make a more condensed one without the extra chatter :winking_face_with_tongue:

Haha, yeah that’s why I included the second one that’s under 3 1/2 minutes.

I wasn’t sure how thorough the second one was (I skimmed it) so included both just in case…
