Unverse Map after the wipe on 7 July 2017

Is there any chance we can get a proper current universe map either on the forum or in-game after the today’s (7 july) wipe? I keep searching everywhere and cannot find anything.

Since the recent introduction of a “fog of war” type of mechanic to Empyrion in 6.0, there are no more published maps. You have to explore and find out about the universe yourself - it is part of the challenge.

In addition, the HWS team have made it a policy that players should not publish maps etc to circumvent this game mechanic - to do so, would have the post removed and your character set to “guilty” status in game - so that the hunters and others can track you down…

As already said before: there won’t be an universe map anymore! This would take away the great new feature of exploration. (let’s call the feature “fog of war”)

How it works is that you only see your neighbor systems. There you can also see if you can jump to them or not. As always make sure you recognize the arrows / warp direction.
