So it was an incident. Caused by the missatention of your mate maybe. I had a problem just like it once, on the last version of the hws. A traders base attacked me and beat me down on gold federation. I just acepted it and move away. Was my mistake get so close of his base, which is, like i said, a spiked wall.
I’m sure if you guys had some word exchange the destruction of the entire base from the fellow trader Could be avoided. Diplomacy works some times.

We have been shot down many times from other traders bases , but have not wiped them out because of it. It’s just that your bases was over many ore veins mate , How many ore veins can traders cover up before it’s too many ?
Traders shouldn’t attack other traders unless there is sick loot on them in which case you should pillage them. I agree.

But that would require bored pirates that are looking for fights to be online. If only there was a group of bored pirates camping trader system for 6 hours yesterday they could have gone and dealt with it.

Thats a point yes, i agree with that. But yet, was the only deposits left on the planet? I think that instead just blow up the fellow trader base, you guys should report it on forum… Maybe it should be a abuse as well. I already saw a lot of servers punishing who block deposits. Or even talking with the owner could solve it. The thing is that you guys preferred aggression instead conversation, what is really unaceptable to a trader. Just my thoughts.
Also, what i would agree, is that if a base is blocking a deposit it should be a free-kill,regardless of faction. If that was an rule, than ok… So in this case a trader vs trader is acceptable(in this specifically case).

Who ever said that being a trader means to never fight ? lol this mind set that all traders should just lay over and die.
What if as a trader I felt like going to gold to mine for gold and hoped that some dirty pirate would dare too try and attack me.

No one is saying traders should roll over and die. Everyone but you is saying traders shouldn’t pillage other trader bases based on how good the resources near that base are.
I think there’s a faction around here somewhere that does that but I forget which one.

Welp think everyone has learned a lesson here , Don’t build so many bases of ore veins on pvp planets where other traders can’t mine.
And two that pirates are really don’t pvp but just post trolling post on trader topic forums
