Since we can now use crushed stone to convert it for a few minerals, there are planets with these “dirt” layers that don’t give any drops. Crushed stone would be nice, a small mineral income from mining.
Well, as you might fear, I did it with intentions 
Even though the Dev fixed that planets could get totally broken by drilling as GG was few days ago, I still don’t want to risk too many entities lying around.
(the fix btw. was to allow more than 65000 chunk edits on a planet. HWS Golden Globe was way over that amount…)
Also GG shouldn’t be the “All-inclusive” vacation trip. To visit other planets to get this was the intention.
