What happened:
=> Me and a few others from my faction completed the alien asylum, and we made it back to EGS HQ, and none of us got alien core. I even tried to run through a second time, but it didn’t help.

I can’t give Alien Cores out because nothing is broken.
You just have to work with the features we have ingame.
That said: make sure your PDA mission is active and after you are back in ECC, everyone steps in the Signal Motion Area one by one.
I found it why we didn’t get rewards. We did come 1 by 1. It’s because Fallen Angel from my faction decided to stay afk right inside the sensor 
Would you mind kicking him, or moving him?? He doesn’t respond right now.
