Cannot connect with steam

What happened?

I cannot login to connect HWS with steam, it just says “Error” above my steam name where you click. I have disabled all popup blockers and anti ad. It happens in game or in a regular browser window with multiple broswers. I can login to steam, no problem, just cannot connect HWS to steam.

Welcome to HWS,

for me it works.
Try in your Google Chrome or Firefox Desktop browser to press CTRL + SHIFT + N
and then try again

steam overlay browser works best for most. shift + tab in game and click web browser at the bottom. no need for MFA nonsense :wink:

Tried both browsers doing control shift N, same result.

try chrome incognito mode

No idea blindly then. Works for everyone else I think.
Clearing the cache is the last idea.
