We have to wait for an update from Ravien/Vermillion about it.

I already checked with Ravien, the Trading Stations now are not for Trading, they are actually for attack in case you are unfriendly with Polaris or even Hostile, now you can get the stuff they used to sell in other POIs on the planets

That sounds unproductive. Why would he close any station? Every station should have value and use as commors so long as you are friendly and piracy if you are not.
