I didn’t notice this before because I never select the XP and UP options in hte skill tree but now that I am packed up ready for next season I reset my character to start over for fun. When re-applying my skill points I chose the first 4 to give XP and UP. What happened though is I didn’t seem to get the UP I would have gotten from leveling and only got the 600 UP from the skill tree. So I ended up level 25 but only having 600 UP and that is far less than a person would normally get. Not sure if this is intended but it seems like if players choose the XP/UP path it hinders them greatly from getting enough UP to unlock devices. It appears the only way to fix this would be to wait 48 hours, reset again and don’t apply any skill tree points until I’ve leveled up naturally.
Would you be able to allocate the UP I should have or go ahead and reset my character once more?
It’s intentional. You only get the amount of UP that is specified with each skill point
I’m pretty sure RE has more ways to get UP, and even if you’re level 25, you technically still earn XP. You just don’t see notifications aboutit anymore.
But please don’t delete the support template in the future. Just fill out everything you can, as it makes it much easier for us to help.
Understood, apologies for the ticket modification, I thought I was helping to keep it cleaner for this case.
Question so I understand please. If I undersatand what you are saying correctly that would mean even though I used Skill points to get level 25 and 600 UP, as I play I would still be getting XP and therefore more UP as I progressed?
If I were to level up to 25 naturally before applying Connect skill points, would UP from skill points be additional then to the UP obtained through leveling or would they not apply at that point?
