be sure you have your origin gun in your inventory to complete the absorption.

you can always try the egs:as command if you don’t feel like waiting for it to update.

I’m having the same issue as the other person. The origin weapon won’t complete. I can only complete the first task.

I wasn’t hijacking a ticket. I was responding to what I was told to do. I was told to make sure I had the origin weapon in my inventory for the DNA to absorb. I can’t because it won’t complete. I forgot the two are connected.

Yes, currently the PDA mission has some problems and can’t be completed, but it should be fixed soon. Tomorrow, I would expect.

Until then, I think you can also get an origin weapon in EGS HQ in ECC somewhere, but I’m not entirely sure this season. Maybe if you ask ingame, someone else has found out, if you haven’t already.

head to EGS HQ and used the beamer sphere to the EGS floor. there is an NPC behind a counter. ask them about origin weapons then how to obtain one. the first one is free…
