Energy Barriers deleting blocks

What happened?
=> I used the red energy barrier on my ship and anywhere it clipped was deleted and is now non-repairable/can’t place blocks back. I have tried removing everything around it and rebuild, clearing cache, repairing to BP, I have taken it into creative and the issue does not exist there.

whenever there are ghost blocks, dismantle and respawn is the only “fix”

As Bob said, there’s not really any fix… except for one specific thing that can cause ghost blocks: if you use too many triangles in a small area on your ship. But that would only happen if your ship has a small and compact area full of strangely shaped blocks or decorations.

Yea, nothing like that at all. My builds are really simplistic, and I don’t use the odd shapes as filler etc. It’s just where I used the red barriers and they clipped other blocks. It just removed those blocks. As an example, I put one on the nose of my ship and it removed the nose and now you can fix it. I will just keep in mind not to use red barriers anymore as they seem unstable.

i think there are many issues with the new deco blocks from the scenario. they are 1x1x1 but project past that so symmetry mode likes to think they exist in areas they don’t.

your options now are either dealing with the imperfections or leveling up to recycle five to get your patreon core back and respawning the entire ship
