Ghost ship

======= NOTICE FOR HELP =======

What happened?
=>
A docked ship has become a ghost and detached itself from my main ship. This ship had OCD/Market/Bank zones on it. I can issue structure commands to getshiphere and getshipdown and get success messages in game but the ship is not visible on screen.
I have logged out in multiple times and still remains invisible to the naked eye. Ship does not show on ingame registry.

Structure Name(s)?

How can we help you now?
=> Decloak the ship and I can get back to business but I assume the ship has to respawned and that will lose the zones so will need those replaced more than likely as well.

sounds like the docking bug. try the cb:restore:ID command to see if it brings the ship back. but yes, the zones may have disappeared and will probably require admin intervention :pensive:

Hey, @globeadue.

As Bob said.

@RexXxuS, can you return 1x Market, OCD and Bank zones to Globeadue on RE NA?

cb restore brought my baby home!
alas she is clearly traumatized by the ordeal and won’t open up the zones to me 8(
so does look like I need them restored/refunded

any idea whats causing this?

I was parked at one of the new space station poi’s that has all those fancy new moving ships flying around it other than that, wide open skies/space

It’s a very common docking bug that’s causing it. Basically any time you dock, you’re almost guaranteed to at some point have your ship deleted for no reason.
The command always work for such cases, but not with zones unfortunately.

yes, ship docking has had many issues for a very long time. just like the connected toolbar, I usually avoid docking until absolutely necessary.

it really does suck for zone attachments though. the best practice for zones is attaching them to a main mothership that everything can dock to and park it somewhere “safe” while exploring with other ships.
