Retrieved from where? And what kind of CPU Extender?
I was in my ship, I just uninstalled it, which should have made it float, since I didn’t have enough inventory. It worked on the first one I did, which is currently in the Cargo Controller, but when I did it for the second one, it disappeared.
It was an improved one, one step up from the basic one.
I had the same thing happen last night with a bunch of medium engines, but this one was critical enough to raise a flag.
this should raise a flag to use the connected container option rather than letting stuff float away. never drop items hoping to save them for later use. unless u enjoy self inflicted pain.
Except that I can’t use the multitool to uninstall mods while I’m in Logistics mode.

We normally can’t help with this type of issues, since we don’t have any logs over dropped items, so we would need a video to be able to help.
But as a one-time exception I’ll take your word for it, and return the CPU Extender (Improved) next time I notice you offline
