What happened exactly? You dismantled the Alien Core with your Multi tool?

On HWS you have the possibility to get an Alien Core as a super HighTech Alien Technology® item. Either from PDA missions, rewards, buying HWS Garage ships and recycling them, or with a Support. When you have EGS Recycle level 5, not OCD, you can write egs:recycle:<ID> anywhere. This can be used to pick up alien cores. A multitool will always break your alien core to pieces.
