What happened: I dropped an autominer on a node 2 days ago. It was in my name, I forgot to tick faction access and didn’t have the right fuel. So I left it. Now when my factionmate and I try to access it it says that both of us don’t have access. I KNOW it’s mine because the one in my inventory is missing.

I noticed the issue last night (10/26/25 CST), waited til today (10/27) to report in case a server reset fixed it. Miner was placed on 10/25/25 on Beta 37495 III Moon in the Bhaklath system. (Use server time: type ingame cb:time)

As it’s an industrial autominer I don’t think it has a name however it’s on a promethium deposit next to smokeyjoe’s temp water base. and currently has 2 other advanced autominers (one of which is apparently also mine which confirms a permission error) (HWS Connect | Empyrion Homeworld Server)?

Since I already have an advanced running as a backup for now, f you can smite it and add an industrial miner back to my inventory/ship inventory so I can replace it that would be ideal…we just only brought two over in the OCD as we are just getting to that later game stage :(. Thanks in advance.

Overall, autominers are complicated to help with, since they don’t have their own structure IDs, and therefore also no logs, and they’re basically invisible to the API.
We also can’t see who owns which auto miners.
As a blind one-time exception, I’ll take your word for the loss, but generally this is not something we can help with. It’s not an issue I think I heard of before.
But I put it in your inventory now.
Is it at all possible to remove the locked out one? we had placed it in the middle of the deposit so it’s blocking us from placing a second one. If not we can always just find another deposit. Sorry for the bother!
It’s possible, yes, but as I said, I have no way to check who the owner is. In theory it’s possible that yours vanished due to a bug, and then someone else came and placed their own, and then I’d be removing them.
