What happened?
=> i bought a garage ship The Dredger. Loving the ship until today, when i logged on today and went to start farming I found my garage ship is not longer air tight. This ship never lost blocks or anything.
Its showing air tight, but not getting O2 nor temp control. After 18 mil Iâm now poor and can no longer properly mine.

How can we help you now?
=> Im not sure I had three other faction mates check it out as well and we cant get it airtight. This ship has always worked until today⌠Not sure what we can do, could it just be replaced and you take the broken one? Or take the broken one and refund the RP and Credits? Either way Id just like to continue to farm.
@Ju or other can maybe check the ship out.
But if it turns out it is in its bought and original state air tight, something happened to your ship, hence there is no warranty, no refund.
Lovely, ya Bob I spent three hours trying to find the leak⌠No luck had couple other senior clan mates check it as well. I logged for the night and it worked, got off work logged on and it didnt work. Its set to private no one took it out. Literally I was farming in Phoenix the night before. Than went there today and can no longer use the ship period.
The only thing I can think of is that patch broke something (worked before patch). This ship is airtight but will not hold air. But regardless there is no recourse for a ship that is sold out of the garage? My hours of grinding and saving up to buy it are for nothing?
@Ju if you think you might be able to find something I would love some help. I just want to play the game and just keep running into road blocks. Any help would be appreciated.
@Bob, it looks like your pointing at the laser turret. If I remove that I will not be able to replace it as its a garage ship over mining laser count. Which block is it that you think is leaking?
The drill laser itself is not airtight but can be covered by an airtight block. The angled tube shaped block touching the ventilator can be pulled off and slapped back on. Just be sure the laser itself is covered. This tube block âused toâ be completely airtight but now the CV blocks can have small pockets depending on the shapes used. Itâs a painstaking process to get things like this 100%. Looks like there will need to be a redesign for next season. For now, just pulling and replacing that block âshouldâ do the trick.
Thank you bob, that seemed to do the trick. But I still wonder what went wrong. It has worked sense i bought it than it breaks? Like just confusing. Never the less thank you for your help and support.
There is a micro tiny triangle room where air could flow⌠but wait⌠for Eleon the Small SV Generator is air tight but the mounted weapons/drills not!
Every day I learn something new!
Perhaps we shall see an update with space caulk for those pesky cracks. I have noticed that gap for some time, just never understood why it could not be solid on one side to prevent air leaks
donât why it worked before and not now but I fixed the initial problem in my linked HWS Config commit.
The initial unchanged Dredger blueprint is without any changes airtight now.
