Help with alien core

What happened:
=> I bought and followed guide to place alien core in new ship. I waited well over 15 minutes and then placed it. I did not have option to change it to me, that part was greyed out. I cannot retrieve core because shields are now preventing this.

@RexXxuS you need to change the guide man… it says: use tab etc…

Try again, and type do:ac:ID for your core to be changed.

On HWS you have the possibility to get an Alien Core as a super HighTech Alien Technology® item. Either from PDA missions, rewards, buying HWS Garage ships and recycling them, or with a Support. thanks for the reply but I tried that. I ended up losing the core and ship trying to take it out. I tried again and am having a different problem after using the command. Now Its telling me “sorry but the structure has to be NPC cored, try again in a few minutes…”

it took a few minutes but the command do:ac worked, thanks very much!
