  • the o:radar command is implemented now!
  • the HWS PvP Radar device will be implemented tomorrow… today, after sleep.
  • we will start with PvP Radar rewards of 10000 credits and 1 HWS DNA as baseline. Then +1 000 000 credits and +2 HWS DNA per day to a max. cap of 10 010 000 credits and 21 HWS DNA (= reached after 10 days).
  • we also start with only 1 Capture Point Zone per available PvP playfield again and see how it goes.

  • The 7th Star Fragment has a public 0000 Medic Bay now, you can respawn to, if you die in the Homeworld PvP System (hopefully, have to fully test)

  • Temporary allow to complete the Ninja Mission Cloud PDA action, until Eleon fixes PDA + Signals

  • Added/Changed 7th Star Fragment treasure. You have to get the one-time-use Token first for it to open the treasure.

  • implemented the new HWS PvP Radar Device, combined with the PvP Tokens feature from HWS+ (a changed version of it)
    It means that you can convert your PvP Tokens into 3 things for the start.
    50 PvP Tokens = Instant Player Level 25
    25 PvP Tokens = 100 Tech Tree Unlock Points
    10 PvP Tokens = 1x HWS Radar PvP Device

As reference this is the current PvP Tokens leaderboard of HWS RE EU and HWS RE NA:

The point is: you get for 10 PvP Tokens the new HWS PvP Radar device, that activates the whole Capture Point Zone feature.
I want to go with that logic, to indirectly implement the logic to give incentives to do PvP overall, which then allows you to settle/build a base, which then forces you to defend you, which ultimately forces others to come at you, so you both can farm PvP Tokens in the end to keep the cycle alive.

What are PvP Tokens?

They are collected as soon as you kill other players in PvP. 1 kill = 1 PvP Token. PvP Tokens transfer over to the next seasons, like your items in your OCD.

Where to convert PvP Tokens?

The 7th Star Fragment, in Phoenix, has a Terminal Console, that you can access to do that.

  • turned off global OCD and Recycle again - thanks for the reminder.
  • temporary locked the 7th Star Fragment Personal Container because the reward/effort ratio wasn’t good.
    I am currently working on a “Star Fragment” Stargate Mission you can play solo or with your friends multiple times, to get the Treasure Key for the Personal Container. This Chain Reward system was requested by many and will not only give a little tutorial about the frequent question what Star Fragments are but also fun to play with a great reward.

  • Garage Ships started to come in. New ones coming bit later
  • Removed the HWS Trader Auxiliary Construction Kit package. It was online for about 12 hours and had a wrong price tag applied to it. Some Players abused it and bought it in big quantity.
    I ran a script and subtracted the correct credits / HWS DNA from them.
    Next time I would appreciate if players report such exploits to me instantly instead of sneaky exploiting it. I marked the veteran players that did it for the future.

  • Reminder: ECC Planet is the most visited planet on the HWS servers (over 500 visits so far this season) and to provide a smooth experience for all players there is a Class 7 size limit for CVs in place. It didn’t work for some time but got fixed and is enforced again.
    So make sure to not bring your biggest CV down to the planet and especially not a big carrier CV with docked ships, or they all will get deleted

  • Fixed missing Star Fragment in Phoenix so you can’t convert your PvP Tokens to a e.g. PvP Radar

OCD / Recycle Patreon Core Information

  • Added a notice in HWS Connect how to finally properly get the Patreon Core out of your structure.
    It seems the priority isn’t fully working for the normal Recycle button/command, so make sure to use the Recycle to OCD button/command.
    Even though it is not intuitive, cause the Patreon Core can’t go into the OCD, only then it will get ejected at the end.
