after the recent incident on HWS EU about splitting a very big faction into a lot of smaller ones for one specific attack on Golden Globe and returning back to their big faction afterwards we have to make some things clear.
First of all: we have no explicit rule about that.
Why?
Because it is or should be common sense.
We have limits and with limits the intention about giving everyone a fair environment to play.
Breaking up into smaller factions for an attack and going back to the big faction is a clear signal to abuse and exploit this fair environment.
The main problem is though:
HWS is already known as “limit + rule” monster anyways.
Other servers have basically one rule sentence “Don’t make us to create more rules”.
While this is a bit too simple for HWS we have already the right rule about ANY situation out there:
Real life is complicated enough and our rules are already over the top.
Especially if we have a rule about HV turret clipping and it is still done obviously.
Just think before you do any shady stuff or just ask us if you are unsure.
To sit down and just point the finger that this rule was not explicit mentioned is lazy or not the right mindset on HWS.
My overall goal is to reduce our rules, not add them.
Punishment
In this move we have now implemented a proper way to deal with such situations.
And while we have the Prison for very minor things like Backpack stealing or bans for mainly Community misbehavior we will sort out such rule breaches with the same thing you have caused the problem: loss of game progress, loss of time.
Example: Wiping % of OCD slots, Bank Credits, RP, revert OCD levels etc.
This should be seen just as a reference since we had already couple of incidents where shady things happened and reported afterwards as “it wasn’t clear in the rules”.
Interesting enough all of these incidents always started with exact this mindset “since it isn’t in the rules, I will do it now”. And here is your logic error and hopefully you think next time twice about that.
