Hydroponics Bays coming up empty for no reason

=> Logged on This morning to find my 56 pentaxid hydroponics bays empty.

=> Sometime between August 7, 2022 0600 hours and August 8, 2022: 1400 hours

How can we help you now?
=> Please fix the bug that is causing it, it has happened to me twice first with my vegetable hydroponics bays and now with my pentaxid hydroponics bays. I know I am not the only one this has happened to. The amount of materials lost is 2520 Nutrient solution, 2520 Xeno Material, 6048 Estreum Gel, 12600 Elemental Pentaxid. I don’t want to have to replace them again. Half were created pre 1.85 and Half after.

Sorry to hear but we can’t fix game bugs.

I only know they fiddled around with the Oxygen system.

In the Empyrion forum, as Rex linked to :slightly_smiling_face:

I was just online, in our base in the Thindida system and was kicked off the server with an error message that the Thindidia system was having a problem and I was being kicked offline.

I was able to log back in within 60s of this happening and all of the hydroponics in the base were empty again…

CB:Time of this happening was within ±2 min of Tuesday, August 9, 2022 20:09

Please let us know what we need to do to solve this as having dozens of hydroponics tanks getting reset now almost daily is time and resource intensive, not to mention frustrating.

I’m not sure how a bug report on the Empyrion forums is going to help me with your server disconnecting me with an error about the system having issues and blanking out my resources over and over again on a private server.

Can and will they be able to replace all of the work and resources we’ve lost now for the 3rd/4th time this bug has hit us and how do I ensure that if I rebuild my hydro’s yet again and they reset that I won’t be told to just submit a ticket to Empyrion again?

I don’t feel this is quite the right response to a customer but I guess I’ll go and read the 3 pages and multiple posts of ‘how to file a bug report’ to them so that I can not have the right requested information like ‘save game’ files and server config/log files to zip and send to them as I’m not the owner of the dedicated/co-op server I’m playing on.

P.S. This is the category of issue I’m experiencing and I don’t have a savegame to upload to them that I’m aware of. " 2. There are sadly a lot of annoying bugs in the game, and there’s nothing we can do about it, other than to report the bugs to Eleon.
We can help with some issues through these support tickets (in HWS forum) , but unfortunately not for this specific issue.

They can’t replace anything for you, but the issue will never be fixed if you don’t report it. If it doesn’t get fixed, then it will just keep happening.

Submit the ticket to Eleon. If they don’t fix it, your hydrobays will probably disappear again.
There is no way to ensure they won’t disappear again, unfortunately :confused:

You don’t need to. Just write that you play on HWS server under the SERVER NAME field. Eleon already has a copy of the scenario :slightly_smiling_face:

Ok, I see we are in an infinity loop, cause Eleon will not fix anything related to Reforged Eden.

So we are at the end left with nothing guys.
We can’t fix it. Eleon can’t fix it.
It can happen on every MP server and it’s a dead end in any way for now.
As Dark said, even if you would create a video of your losses, it will just happen again.

As always in such situations the last 6+ years I can only offer following:
If you can help me reproducing this issue, I can create a savegame and mobilize Eleon to get it fixed. RE or not, it must be something broken in their game code.

Please describe as good as possible how I can recreate your issue.
