How can we help you now?
=> um, check logs and recover  ? that’s a lot of voidium, plasma and magmacite lost.

sadly the logs do not show as many things as we would like them to. construction is one of those. due to dishonesty of past interactions, the admins will only replace what can be proven in logs or by videos we record. most of us made a habit of recording any actions that could cause loss of expensive items due to this. if u have a video showing this mishap, it would be very helpful.

Unfortunetly, It’s my first playthrough for both empyrion and reforged. I do understand the standpoint on dishonesty and I accept it if it can’t be recovered from logs. Never had an issue like that before so no, I wasn’t recording. Logs may not show crafting but they should (shouldn’t they ?) show items going in and out. It’s not like i was throwing voidium out of an airlock for fun
However, what I’'m most interested in is how this glitch happened, and what to do to prevent it from happening in the future. I managed to craft bastion shield but thats two pods less for hyperdrive, and more farming to do. If recording is the way to go, than recording it shall be.

as far i have noticed, this issue appears mostly when i switch in/out containers inside a constructor, lost few pods and dozens of adv. generators/XXL thrusters for this bug, stuff simply don’t appear inside linked cargo controller after finished producing
linking other containers in constructor and then back to wanted ones usually fixes this issue…at least until next time

since then, i usually test the production with few small things before i make anything important…and of course, i try to record the process

Yes it mainly happens when you start changing boxes in the F4 menu as a crafting job completes.

also remember to regularly check your output boxes to make sure the volume isn’t full. crafting will pause until that box is emptied. while you’re manipulating cargo through the boxes, sometimes those items don’t ever craft at all but still use up the materials and time as if they did.

if ur looking to find more voidium u can check our discord. we have a section for everyone to share any locations they have found.

one would think they are in some type of log file somewhere but sadly this is not the case in empyrion. the logs are very impressive on what they do have. it is just as impressive on what they do not keep track of. while this game does waive the flag of “full release” it is in a “forever alpha” state to those that have endured the many pitfalls that were “fixed” many times. wearing a body cam seems to be the best way to show exactly what happened to fill the gaps in the logs. it’s just painful part of the process we have adapted.
