=>I have OCD Level 5. When I try to OCD:PUT the armor in, I get error message that I am out out of slots or item not allowed.
The Halloween Armor is supposed to be able to be put in OCD.
Looking at what I have in there, I can’t figure out what I need to remove. I took out extra pumpkin shells and alien cores and extra epic weapons.
Can you please look at my OCD and let me know what I can remove or tell me what I am missing?
The limits are per slot, not total. Taking stuff out will not make any difference. It most likely won’t go in because it has been worn and taken damage. All epics must be in mint condition to go into ocd. They had to implement this because ocd doesn’t save damage stats. So people used to ocd old broken epics and get a new one back out.
I hope that is not the case - create a ultra rare armor, tell the community that you can put in your OCD but only if you never use it? Does not make sense.
yes that is the case. as @DumpsterSauce said just like epic weapons, the special event armor can be stored in the ocd as long as it has 100% durability with zero repairs. this is a super rare armor that cannot be easily found. makes perfect sense that broken items cant be stored in the ocd and forces players to either think ahead and stock up or wait till next event where it is released again. keep in mind it is a new edition to HWS and still needs testing to find the right balance.
Oh well. I can understand the restrictions with the built-in Epic Armors, but that is an item that can be earned every HWS season and a player can get an extra one to put in OCD every season.
This “special” armor can only be earned by HWS event once per year (for the moment).
Here is an idea. Create a vendor in HQ who will sell a unique item, a “token” which costs one special armor and who will also sell the special armor at the cost of 1 “token”.
Put that vendor behind a door which has another vendor outside who sells a one-time key which has a high fee (10M or 20M or more). You can put that token in OCD. Of course , the token or key can’t be sold in marketplace.
The door charge will keep abuse down - most players would use this vendor at the end of the season - take armor off, pay door fee, trade armor for token, put token in OCD.
For balance, the vendor won’t be available in a new season for 30 days - wealthy EB players can’t go and get special armor immediately, players who do not have millions in their EB will have a chance to earn credits to “buy back” the special armor.
decent idea but tokens are a bit limited on what they can do currently. tokens end up getting stripped to blanks when pulled out of the game to OCD/Marketplace. that is why none of the current tokens are able to be stored or sold on HWS connect. I’m sure rex will come up with something next season. this is the 1st time that armor has appeared. im sure there will be opportunities to get more. just be sure to stay tuned to discord announcements and be prepared to stock up
Does not have to be the token, just a unique inventory item.
(example, the event shell looks like a modified “fried vegetable” and those can be stored in OCD)
There is always a new event my friends. Usually no epics can, or should be stored in ocd.
Need something to work towards in a new season
I even fell that the pumpkin armor should not be stored at all over the season. Even tho i have 3 or 4 of them.
A event thing should be just that, an event thing.
