I need help please - Cannot Login to Connect

======= NOTICE FOR HELP =======

What happened:
=> Went to homeworld.net, usually there is a login button on the moving carousel, it’s missing, when I try to click on connect at the top, it goes to a loading page and just sits loading. I tried to refresh the page a few times and I could see another screen for a split second (saying - you are banned from HWS).

Player(s) with issue:
=> ibwicked

Server:
=> NA

Time (cb:time):
=> 12:45 Pacific time

Playfield:
=> N/A

Structure Name(s):
=> N/A

Structure ID(s):
=> N/A

How can we help you now:
=> Need help logging into Connect. Thank you!

Using the same one I have to access HWS Connect for years, Explorer 11

Currently:
V11.829.17134.0
Update Version:11.0.130 (KB4503259) to be exact

oh man! that thing’s been deprecated for years!
any chance u could upgrade to Edge?

Works great for me. I use chrome too, but not on this computer. Can’t use Edge…

Argh, thing is the new connect was heavily based on newer html5 code…
it should work with Any modern version of the browsers, Chrome, Edge, Safari, Opera… just not very well with old browsers… especially IE11 and before that…
it will be quite the challenge to fix that too… :frowning:

Oh well, thanks for trying, at least now I know what the issue is. I’ll just use manual commands till I can get this computer fixed…
