What happened?
=> Went to Armageddon. Used detector, didn’t see any other players. Nearest ships are 10k away. Flying around and [ADN]JINKS comes out of nowhere. Nukes my ship somehow and drops my shield to 5%. Then proceeds to waste me with his regular guns.

=> This might just be how PvP works, but it was bizarre how he jumped me from nowhere, I didn’t see him coming at all (on radar, detector), and instant killed my shields. Filing this ticket for you to check into it if you’re interested. If not, no worries.
Don’t know where he met you, but I warped in after the fact and your ship was blown up 1k from where I k-warped in. So if it was really a 5 second fight, you were right next to the kwarp
You died in pvp! Throw this ticket in the trash can, learn from your experience and build a better cv if it died in 5 seconds after your shield went down. Just because you lost your shit doesn’t mean foul play. Just hurt feelings #2020
I had just gone to armageddon for the first time ever. Actually first time in a PvP zone. I was there for about 5mins flying away. I definitely wasn’t in the kwarp zone whatever that is.
Mate, PvP is PvP. There are no rules protecting you from being attacked there. Either stay in PvE or learn from the experience. You can get better at being more aware of your surroundings over time, so look at it as a learning experience and move on. Always only take into PvP what you can afford to lose, and always expect to be attacked no matter what.
If you are looking for more hardier miners that are built to withstand all the initial salvos and have the manouvrability to attempt an outrun, then look at my USCSS Nostromo on the workshop. Alternatively ask Bob for help, he is always making miners for people.
Don’t be afraid of PvP, just learn how to be more aware and you will be fine. If you don’t have much to lose, it can be very fun, knowing that you can be attacked at any time, and then trying to escape pirates.
Yah I guess what surprised me was how jinks jumped me with no warning (my guns didn’t even fire) and my shields were gone in 5s. He also didn’t show up on radar at all. Obviously he knows how to take advantage of every PvP angle. He didn’t even care about loot either he just went around my ship blowing up every block.
