I need help please. Invisible block/turret on my Ship

What happened: Ship have invisible turret/block

How can we help you now: Remove invisible turrets/blocks from ship.

After battle I noticed, that one of Ship turrets became invisible (Maybe where are other invisible blocks here, but I didnā€™t found them). I canā€™t place any block on position of this turret, and I also canā€™t delete it.

  • I tried relogging
  • I tried use multi-tool/weapons.Where are no collision with invisible turret.
  • I tried damage this turret with splash.
  • I tried to repair ship (CV) on Base (Repair Bay T2), but got message ā€œShip type cannot be repairedā€
  • My friend also donā€™t see this turret, and canā€™t place anything on itā€™s position.

I found only one way to fix bug with invisible turret - create ship blueprint and spawn it in creative mode (But It still canā€™t be repaired in Repair Bay). So, can somebody help me with this ship? :slight_smile:

hmm weirdā€¦ donā€™t have any good solution myself.
Did you try to clear your cache folder yet? Doubt it will help but maybeā€¦

Other than that recycle it and spawn a new version of it?

I tried to clear cache in saves folder, but it doesnā€™t solve problem.
Maybe somebody (with admin/moderator rights) can respawn this ship by blueprint (And delete ship with bug)?
If itā€™s impossible, Iā€™ll start to recycle this ship and collect resourses for spawning new :slight_smile:

I have set it to RDR faction.

I could reproduce the invisible block bug. Not sure what triggered this

Yesterday we fought in a black hole, and returned to the base on damaged ship (Some turrets and blocks were destroyed). After that, I started the repair to template, but Iā€™m not sure that the process was completed. After this I tried many times to ā€œRepair blocksā€ with Repair Bay, but got ā€œShip type cannot be repairedā€ error (I donā€™t know why).
Today I noticed this invisible block, but I donā€™t know, that triggered this bug, sorry (Maybe Itā€™s appeared after battle, maybe itā€™s repair error)

I think the repair thing caused thisā€¦ thanks for the report.
Will keep it in mind.
If you have a reproducible video this would be best of course. Then Eleon can fix it easily.

Sorry, but I do not have a video. I often think that I need to record my gameplay, but I donā€™t do it :frowning:
If Iā€™ll reproduce this bug, Iā€™ll write (Maybe Iā€™ll try to make some experiments with damage/repair process)
