Welcome to HWS,
unfortunately we have no entity logs about Autominer and thus can’t restore them as we can structures.
They are placeable devices like a Survival Constructor or Watergenerator

Understandable.
As soon as you visited the playfield, did you get a message like that?

We don’t know why this is coming up. Some terrain cache bug maybe.
Normally they do not disappear.

Hey. As Rex said above.
I also think the “Faction Access” checkmark might be on by default (unless you manually switch it off), so it’s possible that someone from your faction took them.

Or if you built too close to a POI, and that had reset, that would also have taken your autominers with it.

no, no message. I know our faction has some in a diff. playfield and they have been fine. I left the playfield and went back. Now they rendered. Maybe some render bug.

yes, sometimes they don’t render in right away. restart the game the moment you notice that starting to happen. otherwise it is going to get much worse until you do…

disappearing autominers is as old as surface wipe/restore, also a problem on other servers.
Lost a fleet of autominers after surface was wiped/restored. On starters there is a surface wipe whichprobably did this. Do NOT place any valuable placeables on starter. Drill the asteroids in space and get out of there.
