What happened: i was deconstructing Abandoned Mine and at the bottom layer when 23:00 shutdown came in. When i relogged 15 minutes or so later the POI respawned on me and i was inside a wall between the corridors with the TotalHorrors walking beside me. My vessel was totally wrecked but TPed outside by Gareth. When i inspected the contents of the mining boxes (about 9 out of 18 were gone i couldnt find most of the mats i had been mining. Usually the POIs dont respawn with a vehicle near.

Just so you are aware, having a vehicle nearby won’t stop a POI from re-spawning, only a nearby player will prevent that (within a set distance from the POI).
Since you were no longer on the server there was no longer a player nearby, hence the re-spawn.
Make sure you don’t log out near a regenerating POI.
i still needed to clear out enough to call in the air support to fly me out, the playfield description said there is a POI reset at 5 PM, not at 11 PM so i thought i was still safe there. My HV cant get out of a hole that big.
I understand how it happened. I was merely informing you of how Eleon’s regenerating mechanic works.
From the moment you first touched the POI with your character it started a regenerate timer. As long as you stay within the set distance of the POI it won’t regenerate.
Let’s say the POI had a 1 hour timer and you spent an hour and a half stripping it down. The instant you leave the set radius it can then respawn, and logging out counts as leaving.
The server restarts ARE announced with a 5 minute warning though and you could have taken a few seconds to back your HV and yourself to a safe distance before logging out.
I didnt know that and will keep that in mindfor next time and let the server boot me if i cant make it out on time. For now, how do i get my stuff back, i lost a lot of the xeno and combat block materials in my mining containers as half of them are destroyed right now?
I also csw jumped this morning and got there without suit and all my inventory gone.

Sadly we can’t do much. Since you got half of it back and probably taken out the stuff left…
If it would have been completely destroyed we could have re spawned it from the last backup. But now we don’t know what was already taken/is missing
It would take quite some time to sort that out, if possible at all.
Two hours of drilling down the drain plus all the materials.
But i REALLY didnt take anything out of it. You can check the logs on my complete inventory and compare the vessel to the backup. I ve done the mine so many times already, it takes alot of work to empty that HV and that was when i could ocd the xeno.
