I need help please possible CV exploit

======= NOTICE FOR HELP =======

What happened: My new ship “Prototype C 0.03” ID:53335159 causes the Internal Error message when other players look directly at it. No idea why, new build started after the patch and spawned in through BP. Sounds like quiet the exploit if you cannot aim at the ship without the error msg.

How can we help you now: Maybe take a look at it in game, I don’t know if the issue is my ship or the other players, but it sounds like it is the ship, 3 different players including a teammate had the error problem. If there is something I can change please let me know, hoping I don’t have to do a full rebuild.

Myself and Impezi were there not sure Preformatted textwhat the issue was but whenever my cross hairs passed over the CV I get the popup for an internal error. our ships are both older that are custom built so I am happy to be available for a test as well. we were both in the same model of cv.

I did not really take to much time as this was during a fight but maybe it has something to do with new turrets ?

Did you try to make a BP and spawn it in Creative?
Do you have the same error there too?

I had a similar problem to this last season.

For me it was an error in my saved BP, I had to re-save it under a different name and that seemed to sort out the problem.

I did try it out with other people, got in a few other engagements with no issues. Ran into Druithynn and his faction mate again and everyone in that fight was getting the error. So it seems isolated to encounters with Druithynn, but in those every engaged player has gotten the error, players that had no issue with my ship in other fights.

@BigRed I will give that a shot right now, did you need to respawn it afterwords?

Yes I had to respawn it; the error seemed to be at my end as if the BP file had not saved correctly. A resave and name change seemed to sort it.

Would be really interesting to see the root issue here.
Some guys complained about “disconnect if approaching X”. Maybe that’s why. Very important to find it.

Any news on this?

Tested with a bunch of faction/alliance teammates with no errors, but everyone is packing up for the season end so there has been no more combat. Took BigReds advice, should have no trouble finding some action next weekend to try it out.
