What happened: cannot load into server stuck at loading structures 7% and then loads into game but only see the planet and bright light.

Also… bright light? sure you are not in a ship 
i have restarted my game, verified files though steam, restarted pc, restarted steam, restarted router and my whole faction is having same issue i was online fine then i relogged due to some lag and now i get this for last 3 hrs

Hey, u need to find your playfield folder in your steam / emp directory, delete it… And only the playfield folder, then reverify, should be good

sorry to hear about that. As others said: the playfield has issues.
It might work to clear your cache folder so the game can sync the planets properly again.
