=> Love the server just resubbed and grabbed my benefits and was on my way to my ship and lagged off a ledge and died on impact. spawn at my ship and ashed back my bag is gone. somebody grabbed my cores! asked for them back in chat but nobody fessed up.
That is pretty unlucky. Technically, stealing is only against the rules on starter planets, and not on ECC. But when I check the logs, I don’t see any players anywhere near the place you died. Did you actually see another player?
Otherwise, the more likely scenarios are that your backpack disappeared on its own. I think they despawn ~25 minutes after you die or so. Sometimes they can also glitch into the terrain. You’d be able to tell by checking the location of your backpack on the map, though (before it disappears).

Sounds like it’s just Empyrion being weird then, which is common. So nobody stole from you, even if it wouldn’t technically have been against the rules.
But no, you’re not screwed. We don’t have logs over what exactly happened to your items, but as an exception I’ll put them in your inventory next time I notice you offline ^^
