But either way, itās an RE feature and not really something we can help much with. We canāt spawn POIs for you I havenāt heard any other mentions of that feature not working, but if itās broken, itād be Vermillion or Ravien (the RE devs) you should reach out to.
Thanks for clarifying. Maybe you were just unlucky, or maybe itās an actual issue with the feature. Unfortunately, I canāt tell you which one it is.
And yes, be careful about trust AI for Empyrion ^^ Our own one in HWS Connect, Discord, and in-game is OK for most things, but I wouldnāt trust Googleās AI.
Iāve never heard about this issue before across thousands of tickets. Of course, thereās a difference between which issues players report, and which ones they experience, though, which is worth keeping in mind.
Weird. I figured if I did something wrong it wouldāve gave me some sort of error but nope. And I tried leaving the playfield both onto the planet and warping out and back and still nothing. Are you able to give the beacon item back and I can try again?
I just checked manually and found this explanation, which should have been visible in the itemās tooltip. Did you read it before trying?
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Place down a Base Starter Block to spawn a new base while in space (hold O first to make it even with the playfield).
Place a Construction Beacon directly on top of the core.
Place the UCH Research Beacon into your personal inventory then interact with the Construction Beacon.
Select Call in UCH Research Vessel and follow the instructions.
Can only be used in standard habitable, cold, and hot planetary orbits and only once per sector. Warning
make sure there are no obstacles within 2000 meters before activating.
No clue then. As an exception I gave you a new token now, but since we donāt have logs about such things, itās not something we can normally help with.
I had the same exact issue when placing the beacon this season. I assumed it was broken so I didnāt bother bugging hws staff for something they canāt fix.
ngl, this was the first time I used the new method of placing a structure rather than just putting a token in your backpack.
