A few minutes After parking my CV unpursued and in a remote area of space, I closed my laptop lid and took a biobreak. My avatar was sitting in the pilot seat. without any warning I suddenly heard a small arms weapon sound, then opened my screen to see my dead avatarās backpack, my CV surrounded by empty space just as before and a message saying my avatar had been killed by āCyanFire700ā. this happened inside my one man cockpit with no sign of an approaching ship. there was still one and nothing around my CV when i respawned. the killerās name is that of a player who was online at the time, I asked him if there was some reason I should think this was a legit attack rather than cheating/hacking. He said āidkā
So this seems to have been hacking and cheating. Cyan is with guild ABN, so I would request that the guild check into this. Second, I would ask that administrators take a look and let me know what further steps I can take. We donāt want people ruining a game as good as this by cheating. However, Cyan if you are here and you have an explanationā¦please provide it. And if someone knows a way where this could happen without cheating , let us know, If Iām wrong Iāll apologize.
Until now I donāt believe iāve ever had to suggest that someone was cheating in this game, not in the whole two years Iāve been playing it.
time stamps and screenshots would have helped. currently this situation is a āhe said she saidā issue. this is a serious accusation with zero proof. any number of things could have happened during ur break. without knowing, there is only speculation. i fear this topic may turn into another heated time waster if not done properly.
