Seriously if MOBA restricted CVâs to size class 1 I would live there permanently.
Universe restructuring?
How about change it up so thereâs only only two starter planets - one PvE and one PvP? Then regarding origin planets you could really do the following.

Combine Trader and Guardian: Force them to live and work together. Traders gather and sell resources cheap to Guardians who protect them.

Hunters & Free Lancers - Get their own planet

Pirates - Can live in space, just make sure thereâs a PvE space they can warp too for protection if they are newbs. Or make it clear that pirate factions are not for newbs and that you have no PvE space to log off too at night.
Thatâll help boost donations for those who want to have a PvE home and be a pirate, or they can just settle for being a Hunter or Freelancer.

Donation planets: Some of the larger factions already have access to multiple donator planets, maybe see if they would be willing to combine the planets and resources to help out on the playfield âtaxingâ?

Planets in general: you could create 1 - 3 dedicated PvP planets, and the rest can be PvPvE on rotation. This helps concentrate the PvP folks, and still gives the PvE folks a place to chill, but they will still need to move every now and then.
I like this. I like this a lot. It would be nice to see the option to buy additional resource deposits in accordance with the playfield restrictions of the planets. Assuming PvE restricted, rather than buying 3 planets with 1 resource type a piece you could buy 1 planet with 3 resource types a piece. Perhaps will a scaling increase in cost per type of additional deposit.
I donât think this is p2w because you could already do this by buying multiple planets but this would decrease playfield load.
But then all the peasants wouldnât be out on our front lawn that is Detroit.
So stick a mailbox on MOBA HV?
This is essentially the definition of p2w. I donât think the community at large would support this.
I know itâs controversial but in what way is it different than just buying 3 planets? (Not trolling)
Only logistically, I think what Nauttdog is saying is it is pay to âwinâ because you are indeed paying for a benefit.
Iâm not sure why the community wouldnât support less donator planets, but with more resources to improve server performance.

In a rare moment of sanity @colin2cold or @Mattcore37k (donât remember which) suggested admin cored donator space stations. Slap a permanently active offline protection ont it and it would be a good place to park your fleet.
Thatâs⌠actually a pretty good idea.
Gold
We should have two Gold Planets (3.0 anyone?)
- PvP/Heavy Gravity/Lots of Gold Meteorites/Global Class Limit of 3 or 2/Atmo canât breathe
- PvPvE roatation - even distribution of all meteors (including gold)/breathable atmo/CV Class Limit 1, HV & SV Class Limit: 2 or 3.
This will lead to some REALLY fun Pvp for vets and newbies alike. No one will be able to build something overly âbrickyâ or powerful so eliminating another players base will require timing and teamwork.
The PvE world will allow newbies to get some gold and resources and not have to compete with vets as much.
Agreed 100% I loved the gold federation/planet battles even though we kept getting disconnected from playfield lol
So here goes my 2 cents, many great ideas so far but here it is as i see itâŚ
Looking at the charts seen from Rexxus, there are large spikes during peak time. Well, the rest of the time, the servers are well under utilized. There is a great way to better âload balanceâ the servers we currently have so that they are better utilized during each oneâs down time⌠Move the most intensive playfileds off to a third server that supports both EU and NA. This would basically ensure that twice a day, that server would be fully utilized, near opposite time schedules.
For a 3 server situation:
Server 1:
-all starter playfields as they exist now, but both EU and NA use this server, Connected via CSW to choice of either NA/EU when person is ready to leave. (this will free up 10 planets and 5 obit playfields on EACH server⌠HUGE gains!)
-no redundant playfields⌠there is P1, P2, G1, G2, ⌠etc⌠but only 1 copy, not 1 copy each server⌠this saves 15 play fields alone by not having to duplicate starter NA/EU playfields
-Donator planets, move all the donator planets here, Even give it say 4 orbits (North, South (NA) and East, West (EU) each could have 10 planets each orbit⌠total 44 playfields off the other servers!
Total playfeilds approximately what 1 current server NA/EU already have, but all this is just for those things, no huge battles or other needless things save the backbone of the âstartingâ and âdonationâ stuff.
Server 2:
EU focus, same as currently set up, keep all the great work HWS has already done here and all the good playfields like MOBA, HW, etc⌠but minus the 15 starter playfields for ONLY EU server + the ~20-25 ish EU donator systems⌠I suspect huge benefit here!!!
Server 3:
NA focus of Server 2, again same savings here as well.
*Added bonuses:
- since your still spreading out the current 300ish active players per server now with EU/NA across 3 servers, the current active load on each would be down to 100ish players per server⌠HUGE improvements with no real downside, and allowing both NA/EU to have best performance during respective peak times.
- More movement of player base, the newbies trying the game then a week later or whatever do not impact the rest of the veterans as they are on the starter server. Folks heading home for the day or care bares chilling on donator play fields, all do not impact the regular server players.
- NA/EU servers EACH loose 30-35 playfields, increasing performance on both greatly!
Hopefully folks like this idea, great way to spread the playfiled load IMHO and good way to bring back the dead 3rd HWS server and put it to REAL use instead of PVE (what a waste that was).
Important to me
-Class 4 (Seems fine and doubt that Class 3 will really help much⌠PLAYFIELDS are the real killer)
-PVP Performance (serious room for improvement here but thats Eleons job)
-better ingame communications/chat
-HWS features, but Guilty and RP needs some serious work
-3 month seasons⌠2 months is too short, hell 1-2 weeks are needed to level, spawn things in, get your footing really
-environmental (best game update so far - but NEEDS serious tweaking⌠way over board in many places)
PvPvE rotations⌠I loved the whole 4.0 rotation stuff⌠gave everyone a place to get resources but also keep the playfields fresh with constant wipes.
Galaxy size - using the above suggestions means that all of HWS Teams work still continues one, and leave this alone
-Black hole - Would be nice to get this again⌠not just a 1 day thing for newbies that leave starter then get forced out anyways due to 24 hour implosions
Not Important to me
digging - somewhat⌠this could be changed to like a 5-10 block deep limitâŚso at least you could build something underground.
donator planets - but this is $$ so needed, just not important to me 
Suggestions
- 3 servers accessible via CSW and each isolated to particular functions
-OCD 40k changed to maybe 200k⌠Lets be honest here⌠a single PVP max class 4 size ship is this in iron or near it⌠40K is a nice warp sled and SV, but thats about it. At least give us enough to build one good ship or two decent ones off the bat. 200k is really not that much IMHO

Firstly thank you all so much you have no idea how much this has really helped us. Itâs the best mass feedback I think weâve ever had⌠And most important there is so much that you all agree on which makes lives easier for us to make changes.
This will be the last day the post will stay open for as we are about 90% sure about the direction we are going in.
Rex will be posting soon a update on what you need to prepare for.
It likely wonât contain loads of âwhatâs comingâ just the crucial things so you guys can start to prepare.
All I will say at this point as I have been saying ingame.
Please be prepared that in order for us to give you guys the best of everything it is very likely a full wipe is coming out of schedule. Itâs not something we would take on lightly and in honesty you guys have been the ones that have made us feel this is likely the best solution so that we can actually make those crucial and game saving changes.
Its not as black and white and a lots will have questions, so plz just wait for the post before you start thinking you will lose everything 
We are well prepared in making it as soft on you guys as we can.
